About Square State Pizza
Hi, I’m Steve, the guy behind Square State Pizza. What started as a quarantine hobby quickly turned into something I couldn’t stop thinking about. During the early days of Covid, I began experimenting with different styles of pizza, chasing that perfect balance of crust, sauce, and cheese. After a lot of trial and error (and a lot of pizza nights), I fell in love with Detroit-style pizza. Those crispy, cheesy edges and soft, airy dough had me hooked.
Square State Pizza is my weekly popup, run out of my home in Louisville, Colorado. Once a week, I make a limited number of pizzas from scratch using dough that’s fermented for 72 hours and made from a custom blend of three different flours. I only use high-quality, fresh ingredients because I believe you can taste the difference in every bite.
